What are the penalties or fees for smoking in the vehicle?

🚭 Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.

If there is clear evidence of smoking, the renter may be charged:

$50 (France)

Plus a 3% processing fee

Evidence may include burn marks, smoked cigarettes or rolled marijuana, or clearly identifiable ash.

Smoking violations may also result in account suspension or closure.

If you receive a vehicle that smells like smoke, report it immediately at check-in so support can assist with cancellation or rebooking.

Are there any fees associated with EZ Pass or toll usage?

Yes. Renters are responsible for all toll charges incurred during the trip, including:

- Toll costs

- Any applicable taxes

- Administrative, processing, or late fees

- Congestion pricing or driving zone charges where applicable

If the vehicle has a toll transponder installed, it must remain in place and cannot be removed. Billing may occur weeks or months after the trip.

Is there a cleaning fee? Under what conditions is it charged?

A cleaning fee may apply only under certain conditions.

Cleaning fee amounts:

$150 (US, Australia, Canada, UK) + 3% admin fee

$50 (France) + 3% admin fee

Renters are not expected to professionally clean the vehicle before returning it. The cleaning fee is only charged when the vehicle is returned in an excessively dirty condition due to irresponsible or abusive behavior.

Examples that may trigger a cleaning fee include:

-Biowaste or bodily fluids

-Major spills requiring deep cleaning

-Severe stains requiring steam cleaning

-Excessive mud, sand, insects, or exterior debris requiring professional detailing

-Large amounts of pet hair

Examples that typically do not trigger a cleaning fee include:

-Minor crumbs, wrappers, dirt, or sand

-Normal exterior dirt removable by a car wash

-Light stains or minor spills
